Wedgwood Elementary PTA — Legislative Chair, Diversity and Inclusion Co-Chair NOVEMBER 2015 - PRESENT Inform and engage school community on legislative issues and actions; serve as a resource for PTA and educators on equity and inclusion for events and communications, provide resources, promote identity safety and honor/recognition of diversity.

Seattle Council PTSA — Vice President, Reflections Chair, Legislative Chair, Communications Chair JUNE 2016 - JUNE 2019 Followed legislation at the school district, city, and state level regarding children and education, reported to and informed SCPTSA board, shared information and suggested actions with local PTA legislative chairs all over Seattle Public Schools, coordinated events and advocacy campaigns, created and updated resolutions and position statements, rebuilt organization’s website, created and executed effective communication for various audiences to promote our work and to empower and inform Seattle PTAs to engage families and community.

Sand Point Arts and Cultural Exchange (SPACE) — Board Director MARCH 2016 - MARCH 2019 ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER, MARCH 2019 - PRESENT SPACE manages a gallery space and a lo-fi independent radio station and funds, facilitates, and promotes arts and cultural uses of Warren G. Magnuson Park for the public, engaging diverse audiences.

Soup for Teachers — Community Group Chair SEPTEMBER 2015 - NOVEMBER 2018 Managed, informed, and engaged a group through Facebook that grew to 3,500+ Seattle parents, educators, and advocates in discussion, knowledge and resource sharing, advocacy, supporting educators, and community-building in and around Seattle Public Schools.
